1.The location of the house in a corner of a small authentic Asturian village, surrounded bij an impressive mountain landscape! 2. The excellent support by our host Jenny, who not only served us a healthy breakfast and a delicious dinner, but also advised us on hikes and places to visit.

Jenny is a wonderful host, always friendly and polite, and eager to help with advice on local activities and restaurants. She prepared a delicious, abundant, and healthy breakfast, which we enjoyed while contemplating the spectacular snowy Picos de Europa through the window. The accommodation is located in a magical village nestled in the mountains, yet very close to the main road leading to Cangas de Onís in just 15 minutes.

The location was perfect, peace and quiet of a rural location, with 3 restaurants walking distance, two of them pet friendly. Maria and Juan are great, making themselves available for any queries whilst respecting our privacy. Thanks to them for their hard work and all their recommendations it made for a very special vacation.

Stunning views of the mountain ranges that have to be seen to believed! Loved the drive up from the valley with the views getting better every minute, we have a small sports car so with the added instructions on finding it we had no issues. Really cute little rural village with mostly cows for company. The apartment (6) had everything we needed and we enjoyed spending as much time there as we could.

We loved our New Years in Següencu! The apartment was very cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. Claudia went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to share with us the beauty of Asturias. We will certainly return in the future.

We really appreciated all the closet space in the rooms and loved that there were three bathrooms, each with its own shower. The small balcony with a bench in front of the house was the perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee.

An absolute belter, beautifully situated, pool, self catering units, river swimming, great bar restaurant down the road.

The hotel is situated in a wonderful location. Simply fabulous . Very quiet. The room is clean and comfortable. We had a cool view from the windows. The staff is very friendly and help to solve all problems quickly.

It was incredible, right from the location, place and staff. They didn't leave anything to make it better. Interiors were class apart and will come back to this for sure. Elias is amazing, the warmth he showed being the owner is marvellous.

The hotel room was so pretty and comfortable. And overall the hotel is very nice. With nice staff, good dinner and breakfast. I definitely want to go back one day :)

Beautiful townhouse with all facilities. Very quiet location with easy access by car to town and mountains. Several restaurants with walking distance. Elisa was very pleasant and helpful.

The location, close to nature but only a short walk to town. The swimming pool, ideal for cooling off in summer. The apartment had everything we needed, including two bathrooms.

The staff service and the facilities

Everything was perfect! The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and overall the atmosphere in the room was very cosy. We had dinner there both nights we were staying and the food was great, a bit pricy but definitelty worth it! Also, the hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the village of Covadonga.

Stunning location, beautiful hotels and sized rooms. The area there is peaceful and outstanding. Perfect place for a retreat! Happy for the coffee/tea making spots in the rooms. Staff very pleasant.

Lovely place, beautiful building and all the little details (classic cars, motorbikes & old photographs all around the building). Great rooms with the comfiest mattresses and pillows. This review is for the Maria Manuela Spa hotel as we were changed to that one due to maintenance issues at The Bricial.

The proprietor was very welcoming and went to a lot of trouble to understand our needs for example regarding exploring the area. We speak little Spanish and she little English so we met in the middle using google translate. It was lovely to wake up in the mornings and hear the donkey in the field outside. The outside terrace faced the mountain and was good place to sit in the evenings.
