1.The location of the house in a corner of a small authentic Asturian village, surrounded bij an impressive mountain landscape! 2. The excellent support by our host Jenny, who not only served us a healthy breakfast and a delicious dinner, but also advised us on hikes and places to visit.

Jenny is a wonderful host, always friendly and polite, and eager to help with advice on local activities and restaurants. She prepared a delicious, abundant, and healthy breakfast, which we enjoyed while contemplating the spectacular snowy Picos de Europa through the window. The accommodation is located in a magical village nestled in the mountains, yet very close to the main road leading to Cangas de Onís in just 15 minutes.

The location was perfect, peace and quiet of a rural location, with 3 restaurants walking distance, two of them pet friendly. Maria and Juan are great, making themselves available for any queries whilst respecting our privacy. Thanks to them for their hard work and all their recommendations it made for a very special vacation.

Stunning views of the mountain ranges that have to be seen to believed! Loved the drive up from the valley with the views getting better every minute, we have a small sports car so with the added instructions on finding it we had no issues. Really cute little rural village with mostly cows for company. The apartment (6) had everything we needed and we enjoyed spending as much time there as we could.

We loved our New Years in Següencu! The apartment was very cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. Claudia went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to share with us the beauty of Asturias. We will certainly return in the future.

The staff service and the facilities

Everything was perfect! The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and overall the atmosphere in the room was very cosy. We had dinner there both nights we were staying and the food was great, a bit pricy but definitelty worth it! Also, the hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the village of Covadonga.

The location is superb and the service was so special.

Lovely place, beautiful building and all the little details (classic cars, motorbikes & old photographs all around the building). Great rooms with the comfiest mattresses and pillows. This review is for the Maria Manuela Spa hotel as we were changed to that one due to maintenance issues at The Bricial.

Great hotel in central Cangas de Onís for a very reasonable price. Slept really well!

The proprietor was very welcoming and went to a lot of trouble to understand our needs for example regarding exploring the area. We speak little Spanish and she little English so we met in the middle using google translate. It was lovely to wake up in the mornings and hear the donkey in the field outside. The outside terrace faced the mountain and was good place to sit in the evenings.

I liked the location in the countryside and with free parking. Room was clean. Accommodation has lounge area and spa. Breakfast was good.
