We had an absolutely wonderful week here, and would highly recommend staying here! Angelique and Pascal were so welcoming and kind, and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful week. We stayed here with a one-year old and they helped her feed the chickens and showed us how to use the pool in a safe way. They also gave us lots of tips for what to do and see. There are lots of opportunities for hiking, and some beautiful villages, waterfalls and nice views nearby. The apartment itself is spacious, spotless clean, fully equipped, and really nicely decorated, like a chalet. There is a road right next to the apartment, but this didn't bother us. The garden really stands out, very beautiful and spacious. We could have easily spend a few days here just enjoying being at this 'domaine', having meals and coffee outside, and using the swings, pool and trampoline with our litte one. Such a gem!

I did not like it at all. There is misleading advertisement, it suggests that you have a garden with the gite. In fact you do, but they don't tell you you have to walk around the block of several houses to get to that communal garden. Which is not very nice at all... The only way in and out of the building is through the front door which is directly on a busy main road.

Breakfast was very good. We made ourselves mini omelettes. Orange juice was 109% fresh. Bed was comfy. The receptionist was very welcoming.

Comfortable hotel right in the center of town, is managed/belongs by/to another one just down the road. Room was very spacious and quiet, parking on the street around the corner not a problem. Breakfast (at the other place) was good.

THe Chateau is a beautiful building with a great ambience. We ate at the associated Bistrot which was very good. The breakfast was a great mix of usual items and some interesting local produce. The weather was even good enough to eat on the outside terrace. The lounge with fireplace was a highlight. We enjoyed glasses of wine on the couch and read our books

Fantastic little flat in a charming old cottage, well planned with quality furniture and fittings. Right outside there’s a table and chairs where we enjoyed our evenings under a “roof” consisting of a large vine which must be well over a hundred years old. There is also a little garden you have entirely to yourself, with a BBQ (which came with coal and everything else you need). The host couple Anne Lise and Mathieu are lovely, friendly, charming, and helpful people who live in the same building. At the same time, you have complete independence. The flat is a duplex and the staircase to the upper floor (where the bedroom and shower are located) is fairly steep. It didn’t present a problem for a healthy 50-something like me, but those with mobility problems may find it a challenge. Stairs aside, the flat is very dog friendly and our Shiba Inu enjoyed it as much as we did, especially the garden. We stayed for a week and this cottage was the perfect base for our explorations of the Jura region. There is no air conditioning but the cottage is built in the old way with thick stone walls and window blinds, meaning the inside temperature is fine even when it is very hot outside (especially on the lower level). The neighbourhood is quiet, safe and within easy walking distance of the picturesque Arbois town centre. Safe and free parking is provided next to the flat, literally right outside the kitchen window. There is a huge supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away, neat and cheap with excellent vegetables. The Wi-Fi is reliable and fast. As a bonus the supermarket offers two spots with free EV charging 24/7. I only wish we had booked it for two weeks instead of one. Highly recommended.
