Arived late at night after a migraine headache and was made tea and to feel at home straight away. The silence of the place, which lasted for my whole trip qas just what i needed, and the comfy bed with quality linens let me get the rest i needed. The restaurant area is comfortable with big tables for anything you need and the free tea and coffe makes sitting there a pleasure. Couldnt have asked for anything more, really.

The complex is beautifully set out and each unit has its on private outdoor area. Very modern look, very comfortable and clean. Staff were welcoming and had a great service ethic. You can communicate via What’s App for any needs.

The hosts were amazing, the location was great, out of the way and quiet, just like we wanted. The house is simple, the outdoor area is wonderful, so is the fireplace. Overall a perfect stay.

Review A friend of mine Paul, put me onto this place, run by his family, in the mountains away from the usual traps. If you want to get away from everything and spend time with a Balinese family but with some of the comforts of western life (hot water and toilet), this is the sort of place your looking for. First I have to say that they are in the jungle and away from the road and you get a real feel of being in a different place. There is no frontage to the road and it’s a bit hard to find, but they organise to meet you close by. It is uphill on a narrow path to the house and while a bit steep at one point, it’s not impossible Gede is a local guide and knows some great places around here that are not on the radar…. If you’re the adventurous type then go Canyoning with his mates… Putu will look after the food and while the food is simple, it is certainly not plain and I tried some different things I wasn’t expecting. The rooms are simple yet spacious with a separate lounge and kitchenette, there’s a fridge, toaster and kettle. A surprise is the water… straight from a natural spring and drinkable without worry. There are kids and dogs and chooks and trees with food you can eat growing right outside the door.

Amazing food and all around perfect service. Buderiasa helped us with all our issues/questions. The cottage is located in beautiful nature and the surroundings with the garden and the rice fields are unreal! (even better than on the pictures in our opinion). You should be aware, that it‘s a 20 minute drive to the next bigger village.

The staff was really kind and helpful, the breakfast was also really good and the place is so beautiful and calm with great view and also it’s close to the waterfall so it is very convenient

The sunrise view was stunning, overlooking the rice fields and the hills. Really lovely quiet place, romantic and the owners are so lovely. They have a pool table, so you can play a game :) Super convenient that they cook there as well, you can have it all in one place.

Excellent service from the staff, great location, not far from the waterfall and there is river next to the room. Breakfast also very good. We had the balinese breakfast.

The term hidden gem gets used a lot but this place is very special. It's tucked away in a quiet part of Sambangan near the Aling-Aling waterfall. The facilities are comprehensive, thoughtful and beautifully presented with flowers everywhere. Food was excellent, accommodation atmospheric and well provided for.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation with a view of the jungle, a private pool. They took very good care of me the whole time, arranged a scooter rental, the breakfasts were perfect. The host even prepared a fresh coconut himself. The views from the pool of beautiful nature and fresh coconut and the sun above my head, it was simply wonderful.

Great place for a family getaway. The villa is in a calm area surounded by rice fields. The cleaning crew comes every third day, and they where very helpfull with our needs. Nice with a pool. You can walk to Aling Aling waterfall.

Everything, this is by far the nicest place we have stayed in Asia. For the price it's unbelievable. We couldn't believe our eyes when we arrived, we thought it would be shared facilities or a block of houses with communal areas but it was the complete opposite. Absolute stunning garden, private pool, water features, birds, fish pond, massive master bedroom. Every bedroom has en suite bathroom it was amazing. Massive 4k tv in living room and enough space for a big family to sit and socialise. Ample outdoor seating, breakfast bar, table and chairs, stone picnic table in garden. 2 kitchens, everything we could possibly need to cook and eat with didnt need anything we brought. Shop at end of road has great selection of stock and takes card too. Our taxi via booking.com for our return trip to airport was cancelled, the hosts organised us a replacement taxi and took us to get cash out. Honestly can't wait to go back and it will be the highlight of our next trip here with friends in the future. If your undecided on whether to book honestly just do it, it was so good we barely even left the villa as it was just so peaceful. Has goos wifi signal all be it slow Internet (but so does most of bali so nothing against here) it worked to watch tv, social media scrolling etc so no big deal. Also just a quick note the beds were amazing, I like a soft bed and my partner a firm bed and these were a perfect middle ground for us both. Extremely comfortable I looked forward to going to bed haha

You need to stay at this property! This is a must! Everything far exceeded all expectations facilities were clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets and towels smelled amazing, the water was hot, the view was amazing and Kama is so lovely. I cannot praise this modern comfortable beautiful accommodation enough!

One of the greatest view in Bali. Definitely worth it. Host and staff very friendly and polite. I did not expect that for this price it will be so good

We've had an amazing stay at Sugi Gede HS! The new rooms are clean and spacious, with hot water, comfy bed, a fridge, a water cooler and a fan and even boasting a hammock on a terrace. The owner was extremely nice and helpful, treated us with an excellent durian (they grow all around the area and at the homestay as well), provided the badges for the waterfall which allow you to enter for a good price (30+20k total for Sekumpul, Hidden and Fiji). Would highly recommend this place!

Great staff, ketut was amazing! Lovely food prepared in our special request and was authentic balinese (and vegan!). Laundry service available! Great spacious rooms with good air con. All new and well maintained. The rooftop terrasse was amazing! Great view into the valley to the ocean. You can't stay closer to the waterfall - easy walking distance. The transport organized was reliable and good! Highly recommended if you want to support lumukih and the locals!

A very nice and pleasant people meet me there , the room was humble but clean and cozy. I got here at night, and in the morning i was surprised by the view, genuinely amazed me !
