It ticks all the boxes! It's clean, very comfortable, close to the airport, it has fast working Internet, curtains on beds, good size lockers, hot water, comfortable level of aircondition and I can go on and on......... I had a feeling that I was not in a hotel, but in paradise, a beautiful green courtyard with orchids, two live parrots, a swimming pool, sun loungers, a lobby bar where breakfast is served, reception. I was amazed when I entered the room and opened the curtain to look at the exit to the balcony and saw a beautiful terrace, stunning with an exit directly to the pool. It was such a relaxation. I have not been to such hotels for a long time.If I could give 100 points, I would give them all.

Location and Transport

Ngurah Rai International Airport offers easy access to Bali’s southern tourist spots, and is just 2 miles (3 kilometres) from Kuta’s resort centre and 8 miles (13 kilometres) from Denpasar. A taxi will take around 35 minutes to reach Denpasar and cost about IDR 125,000, while a taxi to Kuta costs around IDR 80,000.

We use Kuta as the last stop when we're leaving Bali.

We use Kuta as the last stop when we're leaving Bali. It has a heap of shops to visit prior to flying home and is located pretty close to the airport for our very early flight out. We also like the variety of restaurants. Although we normally eat local foods when travelling, we dined with friends at great Greek (Santorini) and German (Mama's) restaurants in Kuta.

Legian never disappoints us, people are very friendly and...

Legian never disappoints us, people are very friendly and happy. Lots of bargains and shopping. The Lokal in garlic Lane would be our favorite place to eat. Jonny's bar top end of Garlic Lane was a great place to cool down. Since our Villa pool was green we ended up here most afternoons to swim and cool down. As a treat we booked into Maria River safari near Ubud for a night. it was amazing, kids rode an elephant to breakfast, fed the animals and went on a night safari were lions climbed on the top of the truck cage we were travelling in. Highly recommend.

but The Beach is disaster!!! Full of trush. All I want to see is ocean and attractive beach but there was nothing. Jimbaran Beach was full of trush I was in shock. Trash was waving and nobody clean the beach which is very sad.

The beach was so polluted.

The beach was so polluted. We could not swim in it and we were not interested in walking on it due to what was on the sand. The clubs were lovely and some did try and clean their area but the waves brought in more.

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to...

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to look around. Everyone we met or talked to were very friendly and kind. Highly recommend. Be prepared to spend time in a vehicle as the traffic is a challenge at best. We went to one of the local malls, enjoying it immensely.

Just the Scenic View is very good thats all..Becoz, while going to the Airport, I went thru the Beach Road so I cant comment more than this. Bcoz, my Stay was only an Overnight stay. I f I sayed for few days then I can..Now its not possible to do it.!!?

Legian was a great place to stay for Bali first timers like...

Legian was a great place to stay for Bali first timers like us. We used a driver to take day trips for Ubud for the markets and UTVs and to Nusa Dua for jetskiing and surfing at Uluwatu. There was lots of shopping and places to eat in Legian.

The beach was very disappointing, we were there in August...

The beach was very disappointing, we were there in August 2023 and I don't remember the beach being so dirty with rubbish as it was this week. The amount of litter was out of control - definitely will only be a 1 night stay close to airport from now on.

Our stay at Sanya Villas in Seminyak was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The villas were excellent, spotlessly clean, and had great attention to detail, which really made our stay feel special. A special mention goes to IRA, the manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. She kindly upgraded us early in our stay to a magnificent villa, which was such a lovely surprise and made our experience even more memorable. All the staff were extremely accommodating, friendly, and welcoming. Every morning we were greeted with a warm “good morning” and a genuine smile, which really set the tone for the day. Breakfast was also very enjoyable, with three great choices available: Continental, American, and Indonesian, so there was something for everyone. The swimming pool was fresh, clean, and very well maintained — perfect for relaxing during the day. Overall, Sanya Villas exceeded our expectations. It’s peaceful, well located, beautifully maintained, and run by an amazing team. We would highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. It's very easy to get to the ports - one of the best port experiences I've had in Bali where you aren't overwhelmed by people trying to / demanding they order you taxis or sell you things.
