Ngurah Rai International Airport offers easy access to Bali’s southern tourist spots, and is just 2 miles (3 kilometres) from Kuta’s resort centre and 8 miles (13 kilometres) from Denpasar. Kuta has lots of shopping and close to most things. easy to book excursions and get picked up. It is busy so itis noisy, but we didn't mind. The people on the street that keep trying to give you a free ticket are a pain as it is just timeshare accommodation, we just keep saying no, most leave you alone after this, but some will follow you and keep trying. The staff in the shops and restaurants give excellent serves. We did go to the dentist on our trip they are excellent Rejuvie Dental Center Kuta.

The staff where very helpful and done everything we needed...
The staff where very helpful and done everything we needed also with everything at your feet you cant go wrong eg ATMs,convenient store gift stalls and the list goes on.Also one of the best places to eat was the Brunch Club but closes at 6pm.With some good Aussie coffee named ART Coffee we had no regrets.
Also to relax plenty of massage clinics!!!

Seminyak is great.
Seminyak is great. We stayed at the quieter end, close to the beach. Lovely walk along the beach and close to the potato head beach club - which I highly recommend.
Plenty to do, mostly geared around eating and drinking. So much choice in seminyak villiage, but really busy.
Highly recommend the grumpy butcher and watercress coffee shop. If you are looking for a great massage Kona spa is the place to go!.
Most places are walking distance or you could brave the grab scooters, which will get you to your destination a lot quicker than a car, but can be a bit of a crazy ride.

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to look around. Everyone we met or talked to were very friendly and kind. Highly recommend. Be prepared to spend time in a vehicle as the traffic is a challenge at best. We went to one of the local malls, enjoying it immensely.

Kuta is a fantastic destination with beautiful beaches, friendly locals, and plenty of restaurants, shops, and activities. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy the sunsets, or explore the local culture. I only wish I had stayed longer, as there was still so much to see and do. I would definitely recommend Kuta to anyone visiting Bali.

Plenty of bars and cafes also within walking distance of hotels. Makan Place and Seniloa were our favourite places to eat and a drink at Uncle Norms is always nice.

We very much enjoyed our hotel however a lot of what we found to do was a little far away in Nusa Dua. The staff were lovely though, the spa was fabulous, food was fresh and kitchen open 24 hours. The hotel was clean and rooms serviced daily.

It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. It's very easy to get to the ports - one of the best port experiences I've had in Bali where you aren't overwhelmed by people trying to / demanding they order you taxis or sell you things.
