Had no problems. Got what we paid for. Nice soft bed, overlooking the lovely garden area. Friendly staff. For breakfast you have to choose one item, it's not a buffet. But still nice. Price was very affordable and best it you are arriving late at the airport or have an early morning flight back. 7 mins drive to the airport only.

Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) Information

Location and Transport

Ngurah Rai International Airport offers easy access to Bali’s southern tourist spots, and is just 2 miles (3 kilometres) from Kuta’s resort centre and 8 miles (13 kilometres) from Denpasar. A taxi will take around 35 minutes to reach Denpasar and cost about IDR 125,000, while a taxi to Kuta costs around IDR 80,000.

There’s one hotel located within the airport and more found within 2 miles (3 kilometres) with shuttle services. Inside the terminals, you’ll find shops and lots of dining options. There’s also free WiFi, charging points for devices and a couple of mini-spas.

Kuta is nice, the people are more relaxed there and will not...

Kuta is nice, the people are more relaxed there and will not hassle you as much to buy things. Generally, a ten ten response will stop any unwanted questions. Everything is there and it is growing a lot. Support the local businesses, speak Bahasa and connect with the people. Beach is very accessible and open to everyone. Have to comment that things are quite safe generally, we left our things and swam in the ocean for a while without issues.

Everything at Legian was fantastic.

Everything at Legian was fantastic. Breakfast, location, pool, facilities and staff. Such a stress free holiday with everything we needed and wanted. Beach across the road to Garlic Lane around the corner. Easy walking distance to where we wanted to go.

Although we only stayed for one night, we discovered some great local shops for gifts and souvenirs, enjoyed an early visit to the beach where we saw staff keeping it clean, and found the neighbourhood felt safe, with friendly staff in all the shops we visited.

I would not come back here by choice.

I would not come back here by choice. It's a very busy place with constant noise from scooters and cars, crossing a road is a death trap and the constant harassment from people offering you a taxi or a scooter is beyond infuriating. You want to walk in peace? Not going to happen. You'll hear constant 'beep beep' sounds from almost every scooter operated by a Grab driver. There's some beautiful restaurants in the town but the downsides for outweigh the up sides. Unless you're staying at a beach resort and plan on staying there for the whole trip, give this place a miss.

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to...

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to look around. Everyone we met or talked to were very friendly and kind. Highly recommend. Be prepared to spend time in a vehicle as the traffic is a challenge at best. We went to one of the local malls, enjoying it immensely.

The Wina Holiday Village is a 2 minute walk to the beach, or...

The Wina Holiday Village is a 2 minute walk to the beach, or shops, or lots of great resturants. we have stayed here many times and will be going back next year again. Its very family friendly. There are many bars around Kuta but you dont need to go to them if there not your thing.

I like the energy of Legian There’s always plenty of shopping, good food options, with variety for all preferences Most things are only a short walk away, or you can always grab a gojek as an option to get around

DONT believe the online photos, Ensure you have completed the correct EVOA to enter Bali Find a good knowledgeable driver of the country, and keep who you find The food I experince was fantastic, only because i had a driver who was very Knowing of the areas, Enjoy looking at what is on offer, so many places to venture into

We loved Seminyak.

We loved Seminyak. There were so many places along the beach to dine or just relax, and it certainly wasn't overcrowded when we were there. The area offers a wide variety of different shops, restaurants, and activities, and it's a perfect base for visiting other areas such as Kuta, the Zoo, and Ubud. We also found the best gelato store! If you have a restaurant you want to try in the evening, we recommend making a booking so you don't miss out. It is easy to get around whether you are walking or if you prefer a bike or car ride. It is not far from the airport. There are sports bars, pool-table bars, and a wide variety of other activities (that are not bars and look like a lot of fun for families and spending time with friends), we just didn't have time to try them all.

It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. It's very easy to get to the ports - one of the best port experiences I've had in Bali where you aren't overwhelmed by people trying to / demanding they order you taxis or sell you things.
