We really enjoyed Nusa Lembongan.
We really enjoyed Nusa Lembongan. Felt super safe walking around. The locals are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a quieter area which was fantastic for us. 5 minute walk to Devil Tears and Dream Beach. 15 minute scooter ride to Nusa Ceningan which is a must. 30 minute scooter ride to main Nusa Lembongan where it is busier and all the shopping is plus this is where the mangroves are and where you can go snorkelling. Mushroom beach a short scooter ride to as well. Loved this Island and would highly recommend.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of south Bali and enjoy golden sand, crashing waves and inspiring views. Be aware things are a little pricier because you're on an island where everything is brought in. I didn't encounter any scams or outrageous pricing though and there are a lot of new places where there is clearly some quality to back-up a little bit more spend. For example the bars and restaurants on the sunset side on Nusa Cenigan offer really good drinks and views of the surfers risking life and limb amongst the rocks or the farmers making a living from the sea. Seaweed farming is back in business and it's a beautiful scene watching the farmers at work. Just remember, it's a hard life so smile and say hello when you pass. If you scuba, look no further. Siren Diving and other operators provide safe and exciting trips to the amazing sites off North and South Nusa Penida.FelicityUnited Arab Emirates - Scored 1010

Nusa Lembongan is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Bali. Getting around is easy on scooters as there is little traffic. The main beach is lovely and the there are plenty of great places to eat. A trip to Cenigan is easy by scooter, across the yellow bridge. You can easily do a lap of the island, making sure to stop at places like Three Islands Bar for a drink and a dip in their infinity pool.PPennyAustralia - Scored 6.06.0
Devils Tears was a spectacular visit.
Devils Tears was a spectacular visit. Beaches, beautiful, but not able to swim due to massive waves and rips, although we didn't visit Jungutbatu beach. Bring reef shoes if you do decide to swim! Beaches have beautiful names and views are spectacular, but not often really isable... Very quiet at night. In the area we stayed there was one restaurant playing awful live bands, but that also closed by 20. Don't expect a nice peaceful place to relax into the evening, drinking cocktails and watching the stars or the waves crashing. Sadly, the island doesn't seem to have a rubbish disposal system ... Unless that means throwing it into the jungle, or onto vacant lots. It's a shame because it's a beautiful island.AnnaAustralia - Scored 8.08.0

NL is a taste of what Bali was like 25 years ago but it has a good range of quality hotels to choose from on the main beach, up the hill and over at Mushroom Bay. There are three or four good restaurants on main beach but be careful ordering bacon. Make sure it is cooked.PaulAustralia

Ketut and his family are very friendly and help you with all your questions (snorkel tour, motorbikes, nice restaurants). Very close to Mushroom Bay, where you will arrive with the fast boat. Tip: take the shortcut from this beach next to Mola Mola, it saves you time. We had a lovely stay here.

Staff is also more than happy to help you arrange any tour you might want to do. The swimming pool is great (bit salty, but as in any hotel in Nusa) and there is great view of the turquoise blue ocean. Rooms are great with each a private terrace.
