Located in scenic and peaceful surroundings in the middle of olive trees, this is a great location for hiking tours as well as for city trips to Florence, Lucca, ... Our stay at Agriturismo Selvapiana was all we ever wished for and more. Look no further if you want to experience the beauty and tranquility of this rather undiscovered part of Tuscany. The two apartments are recently renovated, simple and equipped with everything you need. We spent most our time outside of the apartment however, enjoying the spectacular views, the beautiful and well-kept garden, and of course, the swimming pool. There is a serenity to the whole place that is impossible to capture in a picture. It smells like basil, rosemary and mint, just a few of the herbs that grow there. It is surrounded by these stunning green hilltops, that meet you everywhere you look. But perhaps the most pleasant surprise was the warmth and hospitality of Sara, the daughter of the family. She made sure we had everything we need. She took us along with feeding her sheep, chicken and geese on her small farm a little bit further, which was the daily highlight of our one-year-old. She also shared some of the tomatoes that they grow on the property, as well as a few pieces of a delicious cake she made. And Sara's brother Simone makes different kinds of honey and jams in his laboratorio. The jams we tasted were really good. All the other family members we met were very welcoming as well. Highly recommended ❤️
