Situated in a former 18th-century wine estate, this luxury hotel overlooks vineyards and the Douro Valley. The ambience was amazing. Marco at the reception was very kind and helpful, he made us very comfortable, and the rooms were very tidy and well equipped with all amenities.

We very much enjoyed the managers cocktails and speaking w/ the gentleman when choosing our wines by the glass in the tasting room.

Primely located along the bank of the Douro River, this 5-star hotel has stunning views over the valley. This was an exceptional hotel. Best parking we've had so far in Portugal. Our room had a balcony with a gorgeous view of the river. Breakfast was to die for!! I purchased two beautiful pieces of jewelry made by a local artist that were on display in the hotel lobby as well!!!
