Absolut stunning views of the valley and the river, rooms extremely well designed, the breakfast was very generous and full of local delicacies, we didn’t try the restaurant, the spa is complete and can accommodate comfortably the guests in the hotel without becoming crowded, the young local crew handling the guests was very efficient and they are genuinely focused in making your stay just perfect.

We were welcomed so kindly from the beginning - had a welcome drink with the most gorgeous autumn views over the Douro while the room was prepared. The room was beautiful, spacious and so comfortable, we wish we would’ve stayed for longer! To top it all off, we had the tasting menu for our evening meal and loved all the variations on Portuguese classics, incredible food in a gorgeous setting. And the breakfast was also perfection - a mix of buffet options with a varied menu of cooked dishes. Would absolutely return in the summer to enjoy the terraces and the pool and can recommend to anyone visiting the Douro.

Situated in a former 18th-century wine estate, this luxury hotel overlooks vineyards and the Douro Valley. The view from our terrace was amazing. The rooms were comfortable and we slept like babies. We were a family of four and they were able to accommodate us with attaching rooms. It was perfect!

I really liked this place. I booked a suit and o don’t regret it at all. Such a nice view and very nice service.

Surrounded by vineyards, Hotel Douro Scala offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony overlooking Cidadelhe’s mountains. It has a spa with a heated indoor pool, private treatment rooms, and a hot... First and foremost, your beautiful establishment and grounds and the incredible views! In addition, the staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious - from the charcuterie board when we arrived to our dinner in the dining room as well as the incredible breakfast buffet! This was our third time staying in your hotel and, hopefully, not the last!!

The MW Douro Wine & Spa offers 1 restaurant ( D ' Vino Flavors & Soul ) and 1 Cocktail Bar lounge ( Boho Mixology Cocktail Bar ) a Wellness & Spa center with sauna, turkish bath, indoor pool and... The food overall was absolutely amazing and the breakfast was superb. Variety and quality in abundance.
