The country-style Hotel Històric is in Girona’s old town, just 100 metres from Girona Cathedral. It offers soundproofed rooms with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. This is a unique beautiful property. The room exceeded our expectations with beautiful views of the mountains and cathedral. The room was full of character with stone walls and wooden ceilings. It was spotless clean with a spacious bathroom and everything you could need. There was even a fridge in the room which was a bonus. The location is excellent only a few minutes walk to everything but not the hotel for you if you have mobility issues as it is up high & there are many steps. I highly recommend this hotel, great value for money.

Hotel Gran Ultonia is situated just 500 metres from Girona Cathedral and the historic Barri Vell district. Each air-conditioned room includes a rain shower, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. I cannot fault the hotel. I stayed with my wife and 5-year-old daughter for one night. We walked around the City and had dinner on the roof terrace bar.

The Hotel Palau of Bellavista by URH is 10 minutes’ walk from Girona's historical centre, its Fortress, and Cathedral, and offers rooms with minibar and room service. Very friendly staff , our room was ready even though we arrived early. The hotel is situated on the outskirts overlooking the city. Large car park with ample parking. It’s about 10 minutes to the old town but be warned it’s all uphill on the way back.
