We used the communal outside area with a magnificent view of the mountains. Lena showed us our room and prepared a delicious homemade breakfast, and was so sweet to us.

Very comfortable room. Great friendly and very helpful reception and service. Great breakfast. I also liked that it was a little bit away from the busy port so it was so quiet. We had a lovely balcony with sun chairs and a little table and chairs outside.

The breakfast was delicious — fresh, generous, and served in a beautiful setting that made every morning feel like a treat. The location couldn’t be better: tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and quiet, but only a short walk from the port and the main attractions. If you’re planning a trip to Hydra, don’t think twice — Bratsera is the place to stay. It made our experience truly unforgettable, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Within walking distance from Spilia Beach, Porta Del Mare is close to various cafés, restaurants and bars. We loved the owner and location. The room was amazing. We had such a wonderful stay in this amazing place.

Boasting magnificent views overlooking Hydra, the recently renovated Hotel Hydra is a turn-of-the-century building set in the heart of the island of Hydra. The views, room amenities, staff helpfulness are all pluses to the Hotel Hydra. When I chose the hotel, I knew it was up a long path with many stairs. However, the views at the hotel and the surrounding sights made the walk worth it. The signage is good so it is difficult to get lost. The area around the hotel has an historic mansion and the family home of a famous artist. Both were excellent and interesting visits.
