I loved the location and my beautiful room on the eastern corner of the building with sunrise view out of my bedroom window and sunset views off the balcony. Just magnificent!!

Featuring a spa, the Astoria is a family-run 4-star hotel at the start of Rapallo's seaside promenade. What is not to like?! The property is one of 5 beautiful similar buildings on a wonderful street and location in Rapallo. Excellent base to explore local gems like Santa Margherita Ligure, Recco, and Camogli. Perfect location for everything, including the ferry and the local market along the street on certain days. We got lucky to experience the chocolate festival as well! The room was spacious with a great bathroom and the room had a perfect view right out to the water/beach/sunset. The breakfast is by far the best breakfast we have had at a non-brand name hotel in Europe! And as if it couldn't be any better, then there's the STAFF! Sara started us off on such a positive note with her very helpful and friendly emails prior to arrival, then to meet her in person was the icing on the cake. She is such a lovely caring person and she made us feel like family. She gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations. Elina greeted us also on arrival and when she found out we needed to check in quickly to make the ferry to Portofino (last one of the season), she immediately got us checked in quickly and then went out the door with us to show us exactly where to meet the ferry! And Greta. She is amazing and so friendly and incredibly helpful! We saw her often because she was working a lot, and she always greeted us like we were her brothers and with a big smile on her face. She helped with our requests and even created a small box to help us mail a package while there. All 3 of them helped us greatly while retrieving one of our pieces of luggage that was delayed and then had it placed in the room once it arrived. Needless to say, we loved our 6 days at this property and would come back in a heartbeat! Congrats on a winning place in every aspect and your staff are the best assets of all!

The central position in Finale Ligure, the modern and well-kept rooms, the welcoming staff, as well as the possibility to park ( for extra ) make it a great stay in Liguria. Our room was spacious and with a sea view from the balcony, which was enjoyable. The prices seem very reasonable for what you are getting !

Overlooking Baia del Silenzio bay, Hotel Helvetia is 20 metres from both private and public beaches. We liked everything! Great location, fantastic view! The staff is great, the service is fabulous! The guys took the headache away of parking of our car, offloaded luggage and took it to our room! The room was clean, airy and bright! We will definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return.
