I was a bit wary at first because some of the reviews complained about service. But every member of Catalonia staff I encountered was polite and helpful. A few even went way out of their way to help us. I travel a lot, and this was by far one of the best experiences I've had. Also plenty of variety, food-wise in the dining hall.

Nestled on the shores of the Caribbean, this luxury 4-star resort boasts a private beach, a championship golf course and a full-service spa. Montego Bay and Sangster International Airport are within 15 minutes’ drive. The hotel has a laid back vibe with some island flare. It was a busy hotel but at no time did we feel overwhelmed. The staff did a wonderful job of managing their various duties so at no time did we feel as though we had to wait lengthy times for service or for anything else. The water park was a hit with the family: well managed, attentive lifeguards and great swim up bar. We also loved the variety of entertainment they offered through out the day. There was always a wonderful selection of food at the various restaurants on the property and everything tasted great! Exceptional security around the property. We always felt safe. Big up Oneil the groundsman for keeping the beach and surroundings clean all day!

With 4 outdoor swimming pools-( 100ft waterslide, 2 plunge pools, main pool) a full-service spa on the Ocean and Scuba on Site($), this Resort is the ultimate destination for family fun and relaxation. When booked it says there's a bathtub, there's a kitchen in our two bedroom. It literally says in the room details:" In the well equipped kitchen..." It says it has a mini bar.. no it doesn't. So there was a lot of listed amenities that they actually don't have/provide. Very old and outdated furniture and everything around. Needs a total remodel
