Clean and comfortable! Also very close to the train station. The staff were also very patient and helpful - we had some hiccups (on our own end) trying to upgrade our room, but they solved it efficiently and were super understanding, which we really appreciated.

Ideally set in the centre of Tokyo, HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and is in a really central location in Shinjuku, which was perfect for our stay. Our room was clean and well appointed and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. They were also accommodating to our English speaking. Something nice about this hotel was that when we were out and about in Shinjuku and ready to head back to the hotel, all we had to do was look up and find the hotel in the skyline to know which way we needed to walk, no Google maps needed. :)

Ideally located in the Shinjuku Ward district of Tokyo, FLOWER TERRACE Higashi Shinjuku is set 400 metres from Inari Kio Shrine, 200 metres from Full Gospel Tokyo Church and 600 metres from Koizumi... It’s very clean and has everything you need like you’re at home. There’s also a family mart beside it. Very convenient. Near the subway too. Walking distance to some major establishments like Don Quijote, supermarket, McDonalds.

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura is located in Kamakura, 1.3 km from Yuigahama Beach and less than 1 km from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. The staff ! Very helpful and friendly, they speak very good English. The room is huge comparing with the other hotels we stayed, amazing bathtub and japanese shower, with lots of complementaries (bath salts, sponge, etc). Great a/c, they gave you a tea set with kettle and everything to relax after a tiring day! Location is great if practicality in front of the station, next to a combini and in front of a supermarket.

Ideally situated in the Toshima district of Tokyo, MIMARU Tokyo Ikebukuro is situated 600 metres from Ikebukuro Nishi-guchi Park, 700 metres from Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro and 800 metres from... This is our second time staying in the same apartment. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. It was convenient with your own laundry unit inside. Compare to the standard Japanese hotel, this is a decent size. We landed in Haneda airport, we took the airport bus. The bus stop was close by, about a 7 minutes walk. On our departure, there is also a nearby bus stop to Narita. Many eateries and convenience stores around.

Situated within 700 metres of Monument of Electric Experiment at Hiraga Gennai and 500 metres of Shibusawa Eiichi Taku Monument, ulu Tokyo features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom... Fantastic property in a perfect location! Before booking I did alot of research and was debating between this property and one in Shinjuku. I am SO glad I chose this one! It’s central but also peaceful and perfect to return to after a busy day sightseeing. Perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 older teens. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Tokyo! The nearest train station is Suitengumae on the purple line, which is a short 7-8 mins walk. A little tricky to find it the first time. When leaving the property turn left and go up the stairs to cross the bridge, walk straight and the subway entrance is right next to the 7-11. We visited Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku, Tokyo Skytree and Disney - all of which were very easy to get to on the train. The room itself was fantastic! Exactly like the photos, and spotlessly clean. The view of the Sumida river was breathtaking, especially at night. The layout of the room was great, especially having two bedrooms and a balcony. The washing machine also dries clothes which was a big bonus being a family of 4. The shower room also has a drying function (recommend using google translate to find the drying button - see pic for English). Finally, the staff were amazing. Very good English, super friendly and helpful. They even organised our luggage transfer to our next hotel in Kyoto. We will definitely book again if returning to Tokyo!
