I loved the nearby lake and the countless waterfalls. The owners were very nice to use. They let used their kitchen to cokk our own meals.I highly recommend this place!

Please note that the toilet and kitchenette are situated in a small private chalet near the yurt. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, they gave us tips for our hiking trips and were always happy to answer our question. The surrounding area is beautiful, great for outdoor activities.

As I had injured my foot, we were offered a room in the castle to save me walking so far for meals etc. our room was spacious with a balcony and superb view. The staff were very obliging, friendly and happy - we felt very at home here.

Honestly, when we first booked, we were a bit unsure because there wasn’t a private bathroom. But we really wanted to see Lauterbrunnen, so we went for it — and we’re so glad we did! Turns out, we had nothing to worry about. The bathrooms were super clean and well-maintained, and everyone at the hostel was respectful and chill. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we’re ever back in the area!

This rustic caravan is completely wooden and has views of the mountains. Bathroom facilities are shared. Please note that baby cots are not available in this room type. Breathtaking views of the mountains, very quiet and clean. Breakfast was exceptional!!! Love the crazy talking parrots!
