Very friendly staff. Nice location in the town. Close to civil protection department. Convenient location to visit the Abu Simbel temple. They offered complimentary fruit and bottled water. The fruit is a surprise to us.

Le propriétaire Bassam s'occupe de l'endroit avec son frère Islam et d'autres membres de sa famille. Ils sont des Nubians et leurs racines ancestrales transparaîent dans la tenue de la maison. Chambres très propre et confortable. Un rooftop super confortable duquel on se sent confortable des notre arrivée. La nourriture est esquisse, les déjeuners et soupers sont vraiment délicieux en plus de manger avec d'autres invités. Il est possible d'avoir des activités à partir de cet endroit: Excursions de toutes sortes. La musique fait également partie de leur vie, ils jouent de la musique en groupe et partage ces beaux moments avec les clients qui sont considérés comme des membres de la famille. Eric

This tent features a private bathroom, a dining area, heating as well as an outdoor dining area. The unit offers 1 bed. My stay at Bafana Bafana was incredible! The best place to stay in Aswan to relax and experience authentic Nubian culture. Abdullah and all the staff are incredibly kind and helpful with anything you would like to do while staying in the Nubian Kingdom. I like fishing and Abdullah even organised a boat for me to use! We shared in Nubian music, coffee, language and customs. I would recommend Bafana Bafana to anyone of any age if you want a roots experience. The food provided is very good and the tent is very comfortable with a thick mattress. I will be staying here every time I am near aswan. Mashallah

One of the most magical parts of the experience was waking up to the smell of the delicious homemade breakfast, prepared with ingredients harvested directly from their own garden. Every meal felt like a celebration of care, simplicity, and love. The kindness of the family went far beyond expectations; they were incredibly thoughtful, generous, and attentive, always making sure we felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Transportation to and from the guesthouse was also well arranged, making everything seamless. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for this beautiful experience. The tent includes a shared bathroom fitted with a shower. Guests can enjoy an outdoor dining area and outdoor furniture. The unit has 2 futons. Basic rooms but the views and direct access to the water makes it 10/10. You can dip in for a swim or even rent kayaks and the owner ghandi has a wealth of local knowledge so be sure to ask him for tips. Really enjoyed Aswan and wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Situé à Assouan, l’établissement Nubian Farm Aswan comprend une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, un jardin, une plage privée et une terrasse. After a few hiccups the shuttle boat found me at the dock and ferried to the site, in the dark by moonlight. I was shown to my room which was quite acceptable but then told I'd been upgraded and found myself in a large appartment which could easily sleep 6. Outside was a table and chairs and plenty of space to relax. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The next morning I was asked where I would like breakfast, apparently you can have it in the room, outside at your own seating area or as I did at the outside tables at the front of the property looking out over the Nile. They say breakfast should be a main meal of the day and this certainly was filling me up until dinner and it was delicious, very pleasantly surprised. As the name says this is a farm and that includes dogs, cats, horse, donkey and crocodiles (yes you did read that right). It didn't take me long to totally relax in the beautiful setting and realise I wanted to extend my stay. That night we asked to have a Nubian dinner and weren't disappointed, they certainly know how to feed you. There is a sand hill that you can climb at the back of the property and watch the beautiful sunset. Trips: we went by motorboat to the Nubian village for a wander and shop, a very pretty decorated place. On return we realised it is possible to walk there and we did walk part way along the river to a beach area and swam in the very cold Nile. I expressed that I liked going along the river and it was suggested would I like to go sailing. The sail boat was laid out with comfortable cushions, bottles of water and a tray of tea/coffee and breadsticks was provided. Sailing for approx 2.5 hours viewing the river bank and relaxing so tranquil. The staff were so accommodating all you had to do was ask if you wanted anything or wanted to visit somewhere and they would arrange it to your schedule. All in all I was very surprised by this place and have come home totally relaxed by my stay. Highly recommend.
