We stayed for 3 nights in this brand-new guesthouse, which opened in June 2025. The rooms were very comfortable and spotless, and the bathrooms and common areas were also impeccably clean and well equipped to make guests feel at home. The value for money is unbeatable. The host is a wonderful person: kind, respectful, and very welcoming. One evening he even invited us to join him at a local restaurant where we could try unique island specialties (such as goat sashimi and other delicacies). Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and authentic stay.

Guests will find a refrigerator, kitchenware, a microwave and an electric kettle in the well-fitted kitchenette. The tent also provides guests with a barbecue. BBQ dinner is splendid with wagu beef, pork, chicken, scallops, shrimp, mushrooms, vege, etc. Learnt to bake a cake using a BBQ stove. Fully equipped with all necessities. Nice but rather busy Onsen facilities as shared with local people.

Although the room was very small, the adjacent private onsen was awesome and also the staff was very helpful and provided shuttle transfer to the next train station for arrival and departure and also during our stay for day trips. We spent four nights at the place and had a great time, taking trips to Kagoshima, Izumi, spent a day hiking in the surrounding hills and recovered at the onsen in the evenings.
