We couldn’t fault Nirvaan Safari Lodge and had a fantastic 2 night stay. The food was amazing, all cooked to order with delicious vegetable, chicken and fish curries. The setting is idyllic away quite far from the road next to a paddy field. Lots of birds and insects to see. The biodiversity meant there weren’t many mosquitos too! The tents have everything you need. They aren’t big but they are comfortable with a spacious bathroom attached and a nice balcony to sit at. Ranil and his team really looked after us and their service is great. Our safari to Wilpattu was amazing and organised by the lodge. We saw leopard, bear, monkeys, three types of deer, crocodiles and many beautiful birds. The naturalist was a fountain of knowledge and made the day really special. Thank you for a great stay.

The fireplace is the standout feature of this tent. The tent features a washing machine, a private entrance, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a bath. Very good stay for a trip to Wilpattu National Park as Safari Tours are offered and you can enter the park fron the Western Entrance. I made a half day safari and saw leopard and elefants and many more animals. Don´t miss out to go to the beautiful lake just 10 minutes away and to the rice fields - it´s beautiful there! The staff ist very friendly and helpful and the food is good. So overall a perfect stay for Wilpattu!

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. This was the best one we stayed so far. Amazing room, beautiful location, the dinner setting was extraordinary just like a fairytale, the night walk was super interesting and the stuff really informative about the wildlife during the night hours, the safari next day was DREAMY. Our guide Tharaka was so passionate about his job and 5 hours passed so pleasantly talking with him and exploring the wildlife of wilpattu! I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone!

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. We absolutely loved our stay here! The facilities were so clean and comfortable (especially for glamping) and the hospitality was incredible. The food was always delicious and plentiful and the staff when above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. There were lots of added extras that we didn’t expect like free village and evening guided walks and tea/coffee with snacks. It is also so great to see how environmentally friendly and sustainable this place is - from always using glass water bottles to using coconuts to start fires. Brilliant! I would highly recommend a stay at this memorable and special place.

Glamping Wilpattu by Thamaravila fica a 34 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank e oferece um jardim, um terraço e acomodações com ar-condicionado, varanda e Wi-Fi grátis. Could not recommend Thamaravila more! Everything was fantastic from the welcome to the safari and everything in between. The service was fantastic and all staff were extremely friendly. The traditional Sri Lankan food was delicious. Our safari experience was also amazing, seeing elephants, sloth bears and leopards all in one day! Thanks to Priya who was our very knowledgeable guide on the day. The rooms were very spacious and the location is so quiet and peaceful.

The peaceful big graden with different spots to chill and read. The Hamocks and outdoor bed, also the option to do yoga on a plattform in the middle of palmtrees. The best food in sri lanka and the warm and decent hostpitality of harshan. Open shower with lots of shells and a very airy room, with a big mosquitonet.

This fan-cooled tent has a safe, dining and sofa seating areas. Private bathroom comes with a shower and free toiletries. The staff and service was what stands out the most, they do their best to ensure you are always safe and clean. It's on the expensive side but what you are paying for is the extensive knowledge of the guide on the safari which is missing in other places. We have both learnt a lot about different animals and behaviours on this safari and it's an experience that will stay with us forever

This place is gorgeous—a hidden gem tucked away in serene Kalpitiya that deserves way more attention than it gets. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted. The property is huge, incredibly clean, and so peaceful that it felt like time slowed down. The architecture is stunning—eco-chic in the best way. We stayed in one of their luxury tents, and let me just say... it was out of a dream. Spacious interiors, a thoughtfully designed bathroom, and an outdoor shower that made me feel like I was in a nature-luxe fantasy. The view? Breathtaking. There's even a windmill nearby that adds a rustic charm to the horizon, and we loved it—it added so much character to the vibe. The pool was picture-perfect, and the whole atmosphere just made us feel like we had escaped to our own private paradise. Dinner was beautifully arranged—delicious, fresh, and served with care. In the morning, we asked if we could have breakfast by the beach, and they went out of their way to set it up for us. That gesture alone won my heart. I truly don’t understand why this place isn’t packed—maybe that’s part of its charm. But trust me, more people need to discover this slice of heaven. I’ll definitely be going back. If you're looking for peace, beauty, and something extraordinary, Dolphin Beach Resort is the place.
