Calheta Glamping Pods - Nature Retreat asub Calhetas, 27 km kaugusel Girao neemest, 28 km kaugusel Porto Monizi looduslikest basseinidest ja 35 km kaugusel Marina do Funchalist. The views were excellent, the morning bread was very thoughtful, the hammocks on the balcony were a great touch, everything was very comfortable, and the staff was very attentive. The kitchen space was a surprise bonus.

Perfect for a romantic stay or even a getaway with one kid as well as for the hiking starting point - right in the middle of everything. Very nice stuff, very authentic experience.

Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

Felt completely removed from busy life, which was the intention! Comfortable, clean, and cosy. The host was super friendly. The food at the local cafe was great. The donkeys were cute.
