Excellent breakfast and the location is right in the centre of historic Sandwich. Great if you arrive by train. Very friendly and welcoming hosts Nothing Incidentally, the bed was extremely comfortable.

Used to go right through Deal from Whitsable to Walmer and back again. Didn't realize how much there is to do. Best day out was the 2 mile walk along the sea front from Deal castle to Walmer castle where you can see Wellingtons boots and the room he died in.

This is a traditional English hotel that completely met my expectations. They provided a room and food for a special reception that I hosted, and that went very well. The staff were super.
