From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a dream. The setting is unreal: a crystal-clear alpine lake nestled among towering green mountains, with summer sunshine sparkling on the water and wildflowers blooming everywhere. The view from my room — especially from the balcony — was absolutely breathtaking. I often just sat there in silence, taking it all in. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort and charm. It felt cozy and welcoming, but still elegant. Traveling alone can sometimes feel awkward, but here I felt completely at ease. The staff were genuinely kind — always helpful, never intrusive — and made me feel like more than just a guest. Every morning started with a peaceful breakfast overlooking the lake, and every evening ended with a sunset that looked like something from a painting. I spent my days swimming, walking along the shore, hiking nearby trails, and simply enjoying the stillness. This place gave me exactly what I needed: space to breathe, think, and just be. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you — the kind that changes you a little. If you're considering a solo trip and need beauty, serenity, and a true escape — look no further. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Stadtvilla Schladming Boutiquehotel is set in a quiet side street in the centre of Schladming. There is an on-site spa area with a sauna, infrared cabin and a relaxation lounge. We really enjoyed our one-night stay at this great hotel, so much so that when we were in Schladming again two nights later we booked again. The rooms, while a bit small, are clean and comfortable and have everything you need for a short stay. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Barbara. When we left our sunglasses behind in the room she called and emailed us to let us know so we could retrieve them. We can't recommend this hotel enough!

This 4-star-superior hotel in the centre of Schladming, just 450 metres from the Planai Cable Car, offers a 1,500 m² spa area, a restaurant, and free WiFi. The hotel was exceptional! The rooms may be basic, but they are equipped with everything you need, clean, and very well-maintained. The staff was always friendly and ready to assist with anything. The spa was an amazing experience – of very high quality, spacious, clean, and relaxing. It was clear that the hotel paid attention to every small detail to ensure a perfect experience. It's worth noting that the spa is nude-only, which might be unfamiliar to some, but once you get over the initial hesitation, it’s an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the staff was courteous and welcoming. An excellent experience all around – we’ll definitely be back!

We spent a marvelous holiday at Rogner Bad Blumau. I asked for an extra bed for my 4 years old son. Not only I was not charged for it, we also had a room much bigger than expected (and that we used to have in our previous stay). With two kids in the room that was amazing! Kids had place to move around even when we were in the room. The staff was always nice and accomodating. This is very mucg appreciated always, but with a 1-year-old that is in the phase of throwing food on the floor, it is appreciated even more! The spa is nice. There are a lot of different options. The food is excellent. The staff is great! There are big bowls with apples at the receptions, and the guests can take an apple from there. I found this small detail very generous and touching. Thanks a lot for our amazing stay. Everyone from our family was happy: kids, us, grandfathers and grandmothers.
