The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room is very beautiful, is has high ceilings and a minimalistic design. The airco and the window shutters work well. And parking and charging the car was easy.

We stayed a few days at the end of our Basque tour and what a wonderful decision! We booked a room with the spa included and again a great choice. Highly recommend to relax and reset the body for onward travels. The bathroom was also very nice. The tub is large for a hot solo bubble bath and the separate shower was also very large. The toilet had its own door. In the trend of glass bathroom walls this hotel does it right because the privacy in the bathroom isn't lost. The property felt secluded but is easily connected to the old town by bus. Worth every bit for quality and service.

Set on the Bay of Biscay and surrounded by mountains, the Higueralde guest house is located 15-minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers rooms with central heating and free Wi-Fi. Beautiful views from the large room, comfy bed, easy check in and friendly hosts. And of course this has to be the best breakfast in all of Spain: you’ll be full for two days! This is my second time staying here and I’ll be back, it’s the absolute best place in the area, especially if traveling with a dog. The road is actually quite easy and there are signs for the hotel: be sure to ignore the straight uphill option and instead take the slightly longer route that goes towards the beach but then winds back up the hill. There is ample parking up top behind the hotel. Muchas gracias una vez más!

Less than 5 km from the coast and beside the Basque town of Irun, this charming hotel has a lovely garden and free internet. The breakfast is varied, ample and healthy!Something for all tastes. The hotel is located in an oasis just off the autoroute, next to a big shopping center, and a short drive from the coast. The attention to details at all levels is notable, rooms, beds, linens, in-room care products, space, friendliness of all staff. 5-star stay in a 3-star hotel. And super animal friendly! Spacious parking and large garden area around the hotel. Third time staying here. Next time in warmer weather so I can enjoy the surroundings more!
