Very safe and secure for solo female travelers. Highly recommend!

Nice cozy and comfortable apartment in the residential part of Ferrara. Good communication with the owner. Generally easy parking, convenient access with a key card. The apartment & hall have a nice design, everything was very clean, the kitchen had everything I needed. The window blinds make the room super dark when closed if you like that. Not a problem for me, but if you want to mostly spend time in the center, just be aware that it's about ~12 min fast walk just to the city walls.
