We did the wetlands cruise with John at the jetty in town and it was a must! 15.min walk or the staff will drive you. Also got a lift to damai beach where there are some more food places and shops and the cultural centre $20 entrance for that. Pool is great. You can borrow bikes to explore the area. Note the sea in this area is not for swimming as mangroves/crocs! Can go down the road to Damai easily enough...

Went to for my daughter's registration at UiTM and the place is just right across. Have to go to opposite site to find restaurants so is better if you have a car. The accommodations is superb and very clean. Host was very attentive and fast response.
