The area was great for our needs. The accommodation had a homely feel to it, I looked forward to returning after being away during the day. I will definitely book again if I am fortunate enough to visit the Netherlands 🇳🇱 again.

The owners have gone above and beyond in making their accommodation comfortable for their guests. The adjustable beds were comfy. The room was a comfortable size. There were 2 comfortable chairs as well as 2 chairs at a small table. The bathroom was lovely with a toilet/bede. There was parking onsite. The location was amazing, across the laneway from the canal where you could watch boats come and go. If you have a car, it's an easy trip into Leeawarden, which is a lovely town to visit, although just wandering around Wergea is a nice thing to do as well.

We stayed two nights to break up a long car journey. Anke, the host, is warm and friendly and explained everything we needed to know before leaving us to enjoy our stay. The property is a short walk from the centre of town and we made the most of that by strolling along by the canals and stopping for coffees & maybe a beer or two! We cooked simple meals and had everything we needed for that in the well equipped kitchen. Thank you Anke.
