Just 250 metres from Lake Wakatipu, Alexis Motel & Apartments features a large shared patio offering views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Mountains. Honestly couldn't fault anything. We had an amazing stay! The location and view is absolutely stunning ( we had a lake view room) , all the staff were so lovely and very accommodating (they allowed us to check in early and leave our bags in the room while they got the room ready for us, got us spare toiletries whenever we needed etc), the room was kept spotless and cleaned every day, we had everything we needed in the room, there was a laundry room downstairs which was very handy, ironing board and iron etc. would absolutely stay again and would recommend this place to anyone staying in queenstown

It was incredibly cosy and beautifully decorated, with so much care and attention to detail. It had everything you could possibly need, and the little touches really made it special, including the super soft bedsheets, which made it so comfortable, and being able to wander into the garden and pick fresh apricots, which was such a treat. The location was peaceful and lovely, set in a beautiful area over the river, perfect for switching off and relaxing. There honestly wasn’t a single thing I disliked. I’d highly recommend this place for couples or solo travellers looking for a quiet, comfortable, and special stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
