Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. Wanaka was a break stop for us from Te Anu to Christchurch. The place was comfortable cozy and close to the lake and eateries.

Just 250 metres from Lake Wakatipu, Alexis Motel & Apartments features a large shared patio offering views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Mountains. Honestly couldn't fault anything. We had an amazing stay! The location and view is absolutely stunning ( we had a lake view room) , all the staff were so lovely and very accommodating (they allowed us to check in early and leave our bags in the room while they got the room ready for us, got us spare toiletries whenever we needed etc), the room was kept spotless and cleaned every day, we had everything we needed in the room, there was a laundry room downstairs which was very handy, ironing board and iron etc. would absolutely stay again and would recommend this place to anyone staying in queenstown

The lodge and surrounding gardens and outdoor areas are lovely and the scenery is spectacular. Good access to the Shotover River and several walks, and we enjoyed being a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown (especially over the Easter long weekend). It also provides good access to Arrowtown. Our room was large, nicely appointed and very comfortable. The daily breakfast was outstanding.
