Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. The location is great, just a 5-minute walk to the town center. The host is very kind and showed us the local food options and other facilities.

Just 250 metres from Lake Wakatipu, Alexis Motel & Apartments features a large shared patio offering views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Mountains. A beautifully maintained motel with all new furnishings. Excellent cooking facilities and amenities. Kind staff, and in an easily accessible location, just out of the town centre. Even got a room upgrade to a bigger room upon checking in. Air conditioning in the room was much appreciated, considering a lot of accomodation in New Zealand doesn't have it.

Boasting garden views, Pyke Cottage, Clyde offers accommodation with barbecue facilities and a patio, around 24 km from Central Otago District Council. I absolutely loved my stay at this cottage. It was incredibly cosy and beautifully decorated, with so much care and attention to detail. It had everything you could possibly need, and the little touches really made it special, including the super soft bedsheets, which made it so comfortable, and being able to wander into the garden and pick fresh apricots, which was such a treat. The location was peaceful and lovely, set in a beautiful area over the river, perfect for switching off and relaxing. There honestly wasn’t a single thing I disliked. I’d highly recommend this place for couples or solo travellers looking for a quiet, comfortable, and special stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Located just 28 km from Central Otago District Council, Studio 585 provides accommodation in Alexandra with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as bicycle parking. Really nice stay for two nights. Perfectly located for both Alex and Clyde. Lovely friendly hosts. Beautifully furnished and clean. Would happily stay again.
