Loved this hostel! Iris, the owner, is so kind and present. Check in was super easy and I was able to check out late before my flight. The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms are really nice. My room had full bed bunk beds -- it was so nice to have a little bigger space to sleep after twin bed throughout the rest of my trip. The hostel is in a great location too and is super clean!

We loved our stay at Matriz lofts! It was comfortable, luxurious, sparkling clean, well designed with top notch appliances and a wonderful terrace. There is nothing more we could wish for really! The location is in the heart of the city with numerous restaurants at your door step. Nuno was a great host and even surprised us one morning with their artisanal bread. The best possible way to experience Ponta Delgada and Sao Miguel.
