Iris, the owner, is so kind and present. Check in was super easy and I was able to check out late before my flight. The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms are really nice. My room had full bed bunk beds -- it was so nice to have a little bigger space to sleep after twin bed throughout the rest of my trip. The hostel is in a great location too and is super clean!

Caparica Azores Ecolodge is a project conceived as a generous and open place in its conception and operation, dedicated to meetings and exchange of ideas. Very well catered. It had all you may want and more.

Helpful, considerate, generous, going out of her way (e.g., to check me in late at night)... The mattress was GORGEOUS!!! There weren't outdoor chairs yet (as outdoors it's still kinda work in progress), but my first full day COMFORTABLE chairs were purchased (NOT some inconveniently silly items!!!) Every appliance, every switch/bulb worked, everything was of good quality (e.g.,Grohe mountings!) I even liked the fact that there were proper mugs!!!
