Amazing, the Nest was one of the best places we stayed in South Africa. - It is a paradise, set in a lovely garden. You feel relaxed the second you step into the property. - EVERYTHING is thought through, to the very smallest detail. The booklet provided with recommendations was high-class - there are so many things to do in the area. - It's absolutely perfect, would live there if possible :)

Our stay at Cliffhanger Cottages was incredible and we would highly recommend it to anyone. The attention to detail left us wanting for nothing and we were absolutely blown away by the views, visible from everywhere in the cottage, including the shower! The braii on the balcony & watching the sunset over the mountains are truly highlights of a wonderful trip on the garden route. Close enough to Knysna for shops etc. but distanced enough to fully immerse and hear nothing but nature. Some amazing hikes nearby with waterfalls and streams to bathe in during the summer months. Amazing and definitely worth staying at! I wish I'd stay there longer. It's located in the calm residential area in Knysna with lots of beautiful vegetation around and nice garden view, and it's managed by lovely hosts who can give you valuable advice about things to do in the region. I enjoyed the design of the outdoor area, and the rooms were super cozy and well-designed too. And I'd also highlight that furniture, walls, floor are new and fresh there, no renovation works are needed, unlike in many other tourist accommodations in South Africa. It adds a big value to the living experience. All necessary facilities, like A/C, fridge, equipped private bathroom, parking, pool, are available and in good conditions. 3 mins on foot, there is a cool restaurant with delicious food named 'Social eatery' in case you are lazy to drive to the city center for diner (but driving is still quick, around 5 mins). I have no any single minus to indicate. It was a perfect stay and I do recommend this place.

The house is gorgeous and luxurious. The view is spectacular. Clean, tidy and comfortable. The garden was a tranquil highlight.
