Loreto is a small town but has everything you need. The host was kind and welcoming, helping me with ibera wetland tours, transfers, and giving great recommendations. Breakfast was prompt and had a good spread. A wonderful spot to unwind after your travels. :)

Located in the Iberá Wetlands Nature Reserve, Posada Uguay offers accommodation surrounded by nature. The property has a restaurant serving regional dishes. We were travelling by car through Argentina in January and stayed one night at Claudia and Pedro’s place. Although it was a short stay, it was truly memorable. Claudia and Pedro were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like we were visiting old friends. Pedro took the time to explain the area, showing us maps and sharing details about the local flora and fauna. Early the next morning, he took us by boat to the lake, where we spotted at least five different caimans during a three-hour trip. What impressed us most was the dedication and hard work behind creating this place in what was once empty land. Pedro spent more than two years clearing over two kilometres of canal (without any machines) so the boat could reach the lake. The surroundings are beautifully maintained, with a lovely garden offering plenty of shade, a relaxing atmosphere, and a nice pool. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the room and shower were comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. We highly recommend staying here as it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

Il posto è immerso nella natura, con affaccio sulla laguna e corrisponde alle immagini presentate. Staff davvero fantastico, attenti ad ogni nostro bisogno. Abbiamo avuto occasione di condividere un mate con un membro dell staff e conoscere dalle sue storie qualcosa in più sulla regione e sull'Argentina. Davvero consigliatissime le escursioni guidate da Nicolas in barca. Colazioni impareggiabili!
