The DAV-Haus, run by the Deutscher Alpenverein, is located in the centre of Obertauern, only 50 metres away from the Gamsleiten ski lifts. Parking is available free of charge. Very pleasant, kind and helpful lady at the reception. Sauna available to the guests. The room itself was small but cosy and very clean.

Obertauern’s Appartments Alpenrose offers guests a wellness area with a sauna, relaxation room, steam bath and an infrared cabin. The proprietors are extremely nice and helpful. The rooms and all the amenities are very tastefully designed and very state of the art. The hotel is extremely clean.
