A beautiful balance of rustic and classical in a stunning rural setting, this hotel is located beside the Picos de Europa National Park in the Liébana Valley. It boasts an elegant restaurant. My husband and I loved our stay here. It was very cozy and comfortable. The room was just what we needed and the breakfast was lovely. The patio is a real treat.

Posada La Torre de La Quintana is housed in a listed historical building that breathes an air of nobility and aristocracy, surrounded by the beautiful lush Cantabrian countryside. Such a nice, quiet place! Loved every second there. Receptionist is super helpful and nice and this whole place is simply amazing.

I stayed and ate at La Terrazza restaurant while walking the Camino del Norte in July 2025. Not only is the accommodation superb and right on the Camino, but the owner and staff were exceptionally hospitable and friendly. The entire establishment is beautiful. And the dinner I enjoyed there was the best I've had since starting the Camino more than two weeks ago. If you have the chance, make a stop here during your Camino or eat here if you're lucky enough to live in this area.
