We also visited a waterfall nearby which we also ran to. Rani organises everything for you, driver and any national park entry all at a local price. They also organise your pick up and drop off from Malang or Surabaya airports again for a local price. Cannot recommend enough!

Great view from the room and from the terrace, fresh air. Located between Malang and Bromo, so it is very convenient to go from the ecolodge to the Bromo tour. Scooters can be only rented on Malang, better to take minumun 120cc if you want to travel around, for example, to Sewu waterfall. Gojek works, but in the evening there maybe problems to get one, get a car in advance or ask the owner. The owners btw are very very cool and helpful! Thank you for helping us out!!!! At the guest house, all units are allergy-free. I really loved the location — it feels like the countryside, close to the rice fields. I wish I could’ve stayed longer; it’s such a peaceful place with crickets singing at night and a very cozy atmosphere. The property is extremely clean, and the room was very spacious, beautifully decorated with wooden furniture, and had a small terrace. The cottages are surrounded by greenery, and there’s also a restaurant on-site. The staff were absolutely lovely, and it was easy to order a Grab from here. You can even see the temple from a distance — such a charming place!

We were very lucky that Kawah Ijen reopened the day of our stay and I first heard the confirmation from Annie. The location is already near from the port so if you will be going to Bali after staying at Bayuwanggi this is a good option. The hostel also arranged the Ijen tour for us. We will surely stay here again if ever we comeback.
