You mostly eat at a big table with other guests but if you don't like it you are not forced to socialize. After dinner, Rani and Oussama ask what you are planning to do the next day. If you are planning to do the Bromo walking tour and other guests like to join, you share a car (and the cost of it)... or not if you prefer to go alone. We had the chance to share cars for the Bromo walking tour and for the Tumpak Sewu waterfall and could cut the cost and have a good time with fellow travellers. Rani and Oussama offer solutions for most of your travelling problems: transportation to Maison Manendra from Malang, Bromo Tour without other people around you, tour to Tumpak Sewu with a fantastic guide, taxi to Surabaya... and many more. Rani and Oussama travel a lot in and out of Indonesia and are well aware of what you need during your Java trip. If you are looking for luxury, it is not the place for you. As for myself, I got far more than I expected. Merci Rani et Oussama, c'était absolument super!

Excellent service, very warm, helpful and kind people. Super clean, surrounded by nature, fantastic breakfast, cosy and stylish. It is an authentic local vibe. Also, with tiny details in the room and the facilities that give a fabulous experience. We are vegetarians and I don't eat spicy food. They adapted the breakfast every day in a way that exceeded our expectations. Delicious, local and healthy. Food in abundance! We used the loundry service too. It is just exceptional. I'm very grateful because we had the fortune to know and stay in this amazing place for 4 nights. If I comeback, I will definitely stay here again and again. If you have the chance to stay here, please don't hesitate to book. You won't regret it!
