The owners were lovely and Andrea the host (son) was wonderful, so helpful and charming. The location was great, easy walk to the seafront and a nice supermarket next door to buy snacks, wine, beer, etc. The breakfast was more than anticipated with a variety of choices that changed every day. Aside from cereal, cold cuts, cheeses etc they offered a cooked breakfast of bacon and eggs. It was also a treat to have a full size shower as so many places we have stayed in Italy have mini sized showers. Also conveniently located about 2 blocks from the bus station.

Chicca's Rooms está muy bien situado en el barrio de Old Town, Lecce, a 4 min a pie de Piazza Sant'Oronzo, a 1 km de Piazza Mazzini y a 28 km de Roca. Everything...a very tasteful room in a classy property, very close to the old centre of Lecce, which is a wonderful city to visit. The host was very helpful - he also allowed us to share his trip to Gallipoli which we were keen to visit thus avoiding public transport. We hope to return to Lecce one day and Chicas rooms will be our pick.

This property is a very well built property that is new and of a really high quality construction. The fit out of the rooms internally is very modern and provides a very comfortable and modern feel. Soft tones and neutrals. Outside the gardens are immaculate and it’s just generally a super tranquil place all round. The hosts are extremely friendly and hospitable. They will tend to your every need and are proactive in giving suggestions for nearby beaches (some of the nicest I’ve seen in Italy- Porto prosciutto and lippo). The breakfast is fresh and consistent and is well tended to again by the staff. We had a car so getting around is no issue but there are bikes for those that don’t come by car. My suggestion is to get a vehicle though as it’ll really open this location up a lot more for you.
