Το Guest House 来夢 είναι σε Otaru, σε απόσταση 400μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Σταθμός Otaru και διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge. The proximity of the guest house was very close to the station, and the host and hostess, Funa and Kimi were extremely kind and helpful. The introduction to their guest house was very thoroughly, and made sure everyone was warm after traveling through the winter snow and temperature. Not only were the hosts very friendly and willing to chat, but they even provided and help make reservations at recommended restaurants! When I asked where I could find a furoshiki I could purchase for a souvenir, Kimi kindly offered one she had for me to take home as a souvenir! I had a great time chatting with them while waiting for my train to the next destination. They were even helping some other guests with translation of medical documents due to an injury received while skiing. Funa and Kimi are the perfect host to anyone staying in Otaru! I stayed in the Japanese style room and wish I could have stayed longer. Next time I go to Otaru, there's no doubt I'll be staying with them again!

We came to Hokkaido to snowboard at Niseko/Rusutsu in February, and this place was a wonderful cozy home stay for our trip! You definitely need a car to get here, and it's about an 1hr drive to either ski resort. However, despite the distance, the place was really warm and clean, and the hosts made us feel at home. Every day they provided a variety of breakfast and coffee, cleared snow off our car, checked in on us to see if we made it to the nearby onsen for our evening baths, and even had laundry. There are mini heaters in the room that are powerful enough to keep the room warm, and the blankets provided are so comfy! The hosts themselves are incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here!!

Near the subway; room suitably sized; Takashi, the owner is very friendly and accommodating, speaks English, and is a passionate snow boarder so understands the needs of skiers and boarders.

You can expect cleanliness, confort, spaciousness, and they have a kitchen with full amenities. The guesthouse also has a washing machine (free use and free detergent), but plan for the fact there is no dryer. There is ample space to air dry your clothes either outside or in the dorms with hangers and clips. To note, there is a bookshelve with a wide variety of books. I didn't end up reading for lack of time, but not for lack of interest. There is a high likelyhood of me going back if an opportunity presents itself. It is situated in one of the last Ainu villages. While Ainu folks obviously live a modern livestyle. You can enjoy the museums and visit the shops selling the Ainu craftsmen work. I suggest looking in advance for events happening in the village. Otherwise, a good day is largely enough to do and see everything in the village. Multiple times a day, a workshop on Ainu woodworking is given for free in the modern building (shop) at the end of the kotan. I highly recommand going for it to complete your experience in the village. It was a rewarding 1 hour workshop. I am grateful for it. I highly suggest going for a walk at the Makaushi waterfall (マカウシの滝). On your way there you will find a golf course (with rental clubs), a tennis court (with rental rackets) and a playground (if my memory serves right). After which, you can make your way to the trail in the forest which will lead you to two scenic spots: the river and the waterfall. I was able to see deers at the river. All and all, it is a very short walk.

The host was very kind and attentive, I enjoyed the conversations, the recommendations and the welcome we experienced during our stay. Thank you so much, I hope to come back one day. The room and bathroom are very spacious and clean. The view on the lake is most lovely.

Το BEACH AND FIELD INN απέχει 3,8 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Σταθμός Sapporo στο Σαπόρο. Προσφέρει καταλύματα 2 αστέρων και έχει κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge. The staff were super kind, warm, and welcoming, and they were always helpful whenever I needed assistance. Overall, it felt comfortable and pleasant, and I would happily stay here again.

Το Guesthouse OYADO SAPPORO βρίσκεται στο Σαπόρο και προσφέρει καταλύματα 1 αστέρος με κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και μπαρ. My stay here was simply wonderful. Yoshie is an outstanding host and she will make you feel right at home, and help with anything she can. I met wonderful people and had tons of fun, we even had a "live karaoke" night where we played the guitar and sang songs. I really hope I can come back some time!

Cute old couple own the place. I stayed in the tatami room and it was nice and cozy for 3 days. They always had clean towels on hand. Rest area as well with microwave and fridge. There was a mini washer and dryer in case you needed to wash your clothes as well. 10 min walk to the subway entrance. Also is close to a bus terminal that can take you to New Chitose Airport.
