Lovely comfortable place to stay. Well kept property in a quiet location. Lots of local pubs nearby. Great location if you want to travel into Liverpool, Manchester or the Lake District. Our little dog loved the community garden and local walks. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. Felt like home from home, would definitely go back!

The old lambing barn was lovely. Nice decor and had all the facilities we needed. The outdoor area was great and everyone we met there were very friendly. Would highly recommend to our friends and will stay again next time we visit the UK. Nice walk to shops, cafes and pubs but far enough away from the hustle and bustle which made it quiet and relaxing. The local boothes was great and the Indian, fish and chip shop were both nice and walkable

Lovely and cosy. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Had everything we needed. Some very nice welcome gifts too. Janet was very welcoming. The cottage is a few minutes drive to the nearest shop/bus stop so a car is advised.

A great getaway what a gorgeous place clean top to bottom massive house big beds and plenty room I travelled with my kids and my mother the kids was none stop having fun the dogs to plenty room to run around they made use of the football nets and the pool table room and the cinemas room in the stables and us adults in the hot tub it was the best weekend we’ve had in a long time we made use of the kitchen the units was labelled so we knew were anything was Prosseco was left for my mums bday as they asked what was the occasion I found this so sweet and it really was such a kind gesture we went to the local pub also and the friendliest people made us feel all so welcome Pet freshly also We really was all so sad to leave we will be back soon Also Patricia was on hand at anything we needed she was the nicest of Landlords I’ve dealt with when booking guest houses Made our stay allot more enjoyable .
