Everything about our time here was exceptional, it's utter heaven. The bungalows are gorgeous and set in beautiful natural surrounds, the service from the 3 female managers who looked after us (Harnum, Silvi & Dwi) was incredibly helpful and warm, and the food was the best we have had so far in Indonesia. We also had massages, a cooking class with the in-house team & a driver for visiting Borobudur at sunrise arranged by the team, which was very helpful. And the 'Eco' concept isn't just Green-washing, as is so often the case, it's carried through to the smallest details like lovely hand-made bathroom products refilled into glass containers. I would highly recommend staying here and travelling into Yogya &/ or the temples, it's fabulous.

We just overnighted here on our way to Karimunjawa. An excellent choice not so far from the ferry. Located on the beach. The staff were exceptional. Very friendly and efficient and spoke good English Special mention to our waiter Juan who was very courteous and attentive always smiling. The food for dinner was surprisingly good. Delicious fish. They serve beer, wine and liquor. Food and drinks reasonably priced. The room was comfortable. They have a big pool. Good wifi. In short a perfect stay

We wanted a rural location, close to the city of Yogyakarta. Rossela Cottage, seemed fitting, and was a good choice, 15 minutes by Grab, in the heart of the city for 2 euros and lovely outside. Enjoy the rice fields on the terrace, and chili plantation, the frogs, the swallows. A al a carte breakfast in a fresh cool environment, in the evening on our terrace enjoy the lovely cool 24 c, and then the next day on the road again, Richie perfect host. He also helped with excursions, but Grab is perfect for travelling around Asia these days.
