garden suite is very spacious, modern design with very “antique” details is cool, artwork presented in the suite is available for purchase, very comfortable and clean.
A lovely hostel run by friendly and thoughtful staff. There was also a good secure bike lockup. We loved the rewilding; the birds on the feeders were a joy to watch! The kitchen was well equipped and it had lovely touches such as complementary fresh ground coffee and cake.
We had a beautiful stay at Powdermills. The room was great, the breakfast exceptional. Sue and John were lovely hosts. It's worth walking around the property. A fantastic start to our holiday in Scotland.
Location was excellent and the house is stunning; John and Sue were great hosts; breakfast was delicious and little treats were also provided. The room and ensuite were large as was the guest lounge area.
Very lovely hostes. Good breakfast. If you come in spring or summer, well on a warm day, terrace is a great place to hang out.
Host also recommended us to visit a local pub. Which we did. You should to. Great experience.

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.
3
And finally, a review
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
