I have been in China for more than six months and this is the best behavior I got from the Chinese people. Even the townspeople's behavior was so good. The room was clean, had a really nice smell all the time. The view of the hotel was really scenic. It was surrounded by the mountain. The Huang hua Cheng great wall was near the hotel, by around 1 mile. And the Mutian Yu great wall was around 25 km afar. Transportation can be arranged through the hotel. I loved their food too. Overall, all I can say is, staying in this guesthouse is 200% worth it. If there was a way to increase my rating, I would have rated it to 11+ out 10 😅❤️

Very clean rooms. Extremely friendly and polite owner. 3 very cute cats. We came very late and the owner still cooked for us an absolutely perfect dinner. We loved to stay there and will come back. To visit great wall there are various choices. We took a taxi to Simatai and went up by cable car. Then hiked down. An unforgetable experience.

Vi fik prøvet traditionelt kinesisk mad. Vi fik meget mere end den kinesiske mur hos dem. Det var en kæmpe oplevelse at bo hos dem. Både turen til køkkenhaven, spisning sammen med familien, de diskede op med is, frugt og grønt vi skulle prøve smage, og ikke mindst deres humør. Især Jack. Vi vil gerne tilbage bare for at være sammen med Xiu og Jack igen.

A great place to stay to visit the great wall and experience a peaceful Chinese village. The entrance to the great wall is just a short walk. This section of the great wall is so quiet that we have the whole place to ourselves. It is also not very restored so you get to see some of the original wall. They also cooked fresh food from their garden for us. I have been to Beijing twice and did all the major tourist spots. I have to say staying here and hiking the wall in peace is my best Beijing experience.

Further hidden inside a cafe, which I felt very safe and exclusive. Staff members are super friendly and helpful to assist with enquiries, housekeeping and also some logistic issues.

The staff were super friendly … they are very helpful and made our stay so much better … we were given a nice tea gift bag when we left, amazing touch. View from the room was awesome and the corgis very cute.
