Featuring quiet street views, Casa Carmen features accommodation with balcony, around 500 metres from San Cristobal Cathedral. Without hesitation when I return to San Cristóbal I’m going to stay at Casa Carmen. It’s located on a quiet and safe street, short walks to restaurants. There’s a wonderful garden and art exhibit around the corner… The premises is a serene escape, you immediately feel calm when walking in. The flowing water fountain and beautiful fresh flowers create such peace. It’s decorated so well, not overcrowded, and all the furniture is beautiful. I love all the spaces to sit and just be. I wish I spent more time just sitting in the spaces. The rooftop is an amazing addition, great for a morning coffee or evening wind down. I’m sad I missed their culinary experience, I wish I took the molé class :( The room is also beautifully decorated, spacious and so clean. The staff are the most kind and helpful people. They really fit into the space. I cannot say enough good about the staff, the stay and the experience.

Lucas and his staff are excellent! Very friendly. Very clean. Nice kitchen and garden area. My room was absolutely beautiful.

Very clean, very quiet, optimal if you choose to stay in the city. I didn’t see the monkeys in the lush garden sadly. Bathroom clean, warm water

Located in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, near San Cristobal Cathedral and Santo Domingo Church San Cristobal de las Casas, the historic Casa Tequio features a garden. Great sleep, peaceful courtyard, great location. Lovely breakfast, hot showers, perfect for what I needed, helpful staff who were flexible with my needs. Oh and loads of interesting info about the country and unusual tour possibilities etc. Also a heater in the room which was actually essential, San Cristóbal gets cold in December!

"A traditional Temascal sauna and rooms with free Wi-Fi, a free minibar and coffee maker are offered at this colonial-style house. San Cristobal’s central Zócalo Square is just 150 metres away. Very, very spacious Room, beautiful central atrium to relax, friendly staff. The cleaning staff went above and beyond every day and left our room absolutely sparkling. The hotel is an older building, and its furniture and features are not new, but we felt that this added to its charm.

Featuring city views, Casa De Liz offers accommodation with patio, around 1.2 km from San Cristobal Cathedral. It’s a home from home. Just wonderful, my room is more like an apartment. So nice to have a sofa. I booked one night. Immediately extended for a week and will probably stay longer. The host is very helpful, friendly and runs the place with love. It’s super quiet, far enough from town to be peaceful but close enough to walk easily. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed and wonderful value for money

Located in San Cristóbal de Las Casas and only 1.2 km from San Cristobal Cathedral, Estancia García provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Excellent friendly and efficient check in,. Loved the extra orientation for vegetables, near by resturants, market and town cwnter. Our 8ft car fit easily in the garage. Maybe the most comfortable bed in our year of travel. Very quiet. Wifi worked well. 6- 90 minute Wifi or zoom calls with one ten second delay. The small hotel (3 rooms on top floor) with a nice kitchen and living space. Excellent roof top deck with shade, tables and comfy seating, and a great view of the city and hills. Saw two parades.
