The river was only 200m away for relaxing walks, and a 24hr self-serve supermarket completed the rural escape convenience! Truly one of the best stays we have had - we could not rate it highly enough!

We were given exceptional hospitality, the cabin was already heated by the fire by the time we had arrived meaning we didn’t have to be in the cold. This touch made the stay feel more personal. In the morning we were made a beautiful Norwegian breakfast which was brought right to our door, it was the best way to start the day. Rosanna showed us the rest of the property with outstanding views whilst her lovely dog came along and played. The whole time spent here was calm, quiet and wholesome. The views and the cabin were beautiful. Above all, the hosts were the most attentive and caring.

I really liked that the room had a coffee machine with coffee available. It was also very convenient to have a fridge in the room, which made the stay even more comfortable.

Beautiful location, overlooking a tranquil lake surrounded by mountains. Horses and apple orchard. Morning fog on the lake was lovely. The calls of cranes echoing from the hills. The 1770 stabbur was very roomy and well-equipped with bathroom, kitchen, TV. I loved the history of the place—like a museum. Short drive to Bo or Lunde, Telemark. Torstein and Goril were charming hosts. I plan to return and recommend to my family.

Situated just 27 km from Bø Summerland, vrangfoss slusevokterbolig features accommodation in Funnemark with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a shared kitchen. Had the entire house to myself, very peaceful and didn't encounter any ghosts or goblins.

Featuring inner courtyard views, Vrangfoss Sluse provides accommodation with patio, around 27 km from Bø Summerland. Quiet, historical location allows you to watch the operation of the locks. Having a restaurant on site was a big plus. We had a lovely dinner on the porch, and the breakfast the next morning was just fine. This was good for a one-night stay, but probably wouldn't want to stay longer than that. Location was great to get to Ulefoss or Lunde to go for a canal boat cruise.

It was exactly as described. I loved the atmosphere, the owner was really friendly and helpful and the apartment was comfortable. Sheets and towels can be requested for extra.
