I stayed at Bliss Inn Hostel in Shkodër for 3 nights and had a truly memorable experience. Dioniz and Kristian, the hosts, were incredibly kind and welcoming—I had the chance to get to know them personally, and we even went out to eat and relax together. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. The hostel is tucked just a few roads off the city center, offering the perfect blend of central location and peaceful atmosphere. It’s a beautiful, well-kept space with a warm, friendly vibe—and to top it off, they have a gorgeous ginger cat who adds even more charm to the place. I highly recommend Bliss Inn Hostel to anyone visiting Shkodër. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s a place where you’ll feel genuinely welcomed. I look forward to seeing you guys again soon. Thank you again for everything :)

I had a great time here. This couple is so lovely, so helpful and welcome. They give you everything you need to explore the area. The lake is very close and it is nice to rent a bike from the hostel a bike and go on a bike tour.

Xhou was a great host and helped with everything we needed. The rooms are great value for money and are located a 5 minute walk from the main strip. The shared washing machine is very useful and an brilliant addition. There is also a gorgeous terrace on top where you can relax and enjoy food and a drink. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to explore shkoder as a single, couple or group.

This hostel is simple but super clean and comfortable. Bed is comfortable with a private curtain. Locker is big enough to hold a big backpack. It has a nice kitchen with plenty of cookers and provides drinkable water for free. Every guest is polite. The host is always friendly and helpful, you can get every information from him, he can also organize your itinerary and help you to book the minivan and ferry ticket for transport between hiking trails and cities. I really spend a good time here, recommend to every solo traveller. It definitely worths the price.

I’ve loved every second and the Galley! Wonderful staff and a great occasion to meet new people and respect for personal spaces. The kitchen and the livingroom are very well organized and clean. Beautiful murales color the whole place, a green-friendly vibe and the spicy american host make a stop at the Galley, while travelling, a hostel-must!

Such a great hostel in the perfect location. The beds all have privacy curtains, individual lights and power sockets and there is a common space outside of the rooms also. Erjon and John, the owner and manager are both very friendly and helpful, I felt very welcome in the hostel. I would definitely recommend this hostel if you want somewhere to feel safe and comfortable during your stay in Shkodra.

Run by a very friendly family, with a lovely big garden area to socialise in. They offer bikes for rental at a cheap rate, great for getting out to the lake, and they will help guests organise everything needed to get to and from the Theth / Valbone / Komani circuit, plus luggage storage, etc. It was a very comfortable place to stay and I would definitely go back.

The apartment had everything we needed. Quiet and comfortable with the city center in walking distance. Especially the garden right at our doorstep was lovely. Communication with the host went perfectly and we didn't feel like anything was missing. Extra points for the two lovely dogs! :)

This place is really cool. Nice people, quiet neighbourhood with parking outside. We were able to leave our car in their safe off-street parking for a small fee while we were hiking in the mountains. Beers and coffee cheap. They can help with everything for excursions away to the mountains. Excellent hostel!

One of the best hostels that I've stayed at! Fantastic location with really friendly and helpful staff. They can help arrange activities such as the Valbona to Theth hike amongst others and settle transportations for you. They also have mexican dinners for 3 euros and karaoke nights on certain days. Drinks were cheap and it was really easy to socialise with people in the garden area. The huge breakfast spread was a bonus. Absolutely love this place!

Price is very cheap so great value for money. Located in the central tourist streets, the safest and cleanest part of the city, even if you do not stay here I strongly recommend staying nearby. Hostel has decent kitchen facilities. All the staff (and the people staying while I was there) were really friendly.
