Love love love YHA Brisbane. I always stay here whenever I'm in the city. Very clean, safe and not crowded/loud. Facilities and amenities are very good and always clean. The staff are awesome. Great location and absolutely priceless view of the city from the roof top. They have a rooftop bar as well and the cafe at reception does a great coffee. Best Hostel in Brisbane.
One of the best hostels I've been to. Staff were so friendly and everyone is really nice. Evening activities were great and common areas were so well equipped and nice. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe. Thank you so much!!
The staff are lovely, great location, clean kitchen & rooms. All the people I’ve met here are super friendly. Best hostel I’ve stayed at in Brisbane (and I’ve been in almost all of them)
Reasonable hostel, great location within a few minutes walk to Suncorp Stadium, transportation and the city centre. Excellent option if you're wanting to go to Magic Round or a Broncos game on a budget.
Old and worn.
But very very clean and everything worked. Good bed. Great location. Good meals.
People very nice.
A cheap safe place to stay. Very close to Sunnybank hospital and specialists
Will be staying again
Great location within the city. Coles is less than a 5 minute walk away and only a 15 minute walk to the city centre. Property is always cleaned as there is cleaners around daily. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hostel host an activity every night as ranging from free food to free entertainment which is great to see as a backpacker. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, I initially booked for 2 weeks and extended my stay by another month. Great experience overall
Great location. Clean hostel with helpful staff. I really liked that the bunk beds had privacy curtains which really improved my sleep and level of comfort. I will definitely stay here again.
great location in fortitude valley. very smart for a hostel. the hostel has its own bar / club with cheap drinks. a free drink was on offer at 8pm which was a good opportunity to meet other travellers. very friendly staff from the front desk to bar to security.
despite all this we had no trouble sleeping, no noise issues, etc. although that could be due to the placement of the room we had.
my friend and I had a twin ensuite room which was comfortable and clean.
Wow what a hostel! I’ve experienced many hostels in my time but nothing compares to BQ. The design was more like a boutique hotel. The bathrooms were super modern and the bunk beds were spacious, comfortable and private. The free breakfast was a bonus and the staff were super friendly. 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in Brisbane on a budget. Thank you for a fantastic stay BQ!
