All thanks and appreciation for the hospitality. The staff is absolutely wonderful, and it was an honor to meet you. Thank you very much for the gifts. The place is new and just as it appears in the pictures—amazing, clean, organized, and smells great, with attention to the smallest details. There are no mistakes. What’s great about the hostel is that they have branches everywhere. I have visited their branches in other cities as well, so you won’t have trouble finding accommodation in other cities—just look for them.

The location was central. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The reception staff were both kind and responsive. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Chengdu.

Andy on the desk was exceptional. She booked multiple trains and the Terracotta warriors and more. All with excellent english, thanks. Great location, just out of Xinnanmen metro, exit D. A 5 metre walk. It's labelled Local Tea Hostel. There are heaps of food stalls and a night market behind the hostel. Very quiet, good shower and clean. Good air con. Yes the foyer is sub standard but the hostel itself is fine.

it is clean and comfortable. there are bicycle right in front of the hostel, very convenient to explore Chengdu. will stay here again if visiting Chengdu.

The facilities are great and the place is clean. The beds are comfortable, and they have curtains, so you get some privacy. The girls at the reception are exceptional and very fun, they also speak english. They offer trips and tours inside and outside of the city, and they can even help you customize yours. They are willing to help you with any problem that might arise and also provide very useful recommendations for things to do within the city or even China in general. Great place. I will definitely stay there again if I go to Chengdu a second time.

Great location, close to the temple and park and Jin Li alley - lovely to be able to walk out on our first day in the city straight into exploring. Bed was comfy and bathroom had a shower with good pressure (not just a wet room). The staff were friendly and helpful. There are lots of things you can book via the hostel - like the Sichuan Opera (which was great fun, and which they helped us book just an hour before it started). There's a lovely Tibetan restaurant just opposite in the same alley (called The Great Elephant Dining Hall I think) and plenty more restaurants and cafes in the area. We didn't try the breakfast.

Offering air-conditioned rooms in the Jinjiang District district of Chengdu, Qingcheng Youth Hostel is a 9-minute walk from Chunxi Road.
