For the solo traveller this is better than a hotel in my opinion. It's an experience in itself. All details are well thought out and the layout is just great. I wasn't too in love with Madrid until I spent a night in the hostel and saw it with fresh eyes the following day. This is definitely a hidden gem. My best experience in Madrid. The Sunday market which is a short walk away comes second. They allowed me to leave my bag and use the facilities until 8pm on checkout day! So still had a base even though I'd checked out. They have fridges for your food, water, drinks etc to buy. The dorms are super safe with security codes and super quiet. My only regret is that I did not book a second night and stay longer. There's lots more I probably didn't mention. If there was 5star hostels, this would be 6stars

Friendly stuff, especially Alicia. Thanks for a lot of recommendations. Hostel very clean, room also clean. Normal shower not with a curtains. Bed comfortable, two pillows and bed curtain to make more private, light above a head and socket to charge all stuff. Towel cost 2€, there are a lot of activities in the hostel. So good hostel!!!
