We had a lovely stay. The room was very comfy. It was nice to have fresh milk in the fridge for making tea or coffee in the room. Linda & Peter made us very welcome, with plenty of knowledge of the area. The breakfast set us up for the day. It’s in a great location, only about 5 minutes drive from the beach. Plenty of places to visit.

We were a family of 5, traditional hotels do not serve us, this hostel was like a hotel, double bed for us and bunk beds for the children. Complimentary breakfast and tea and coffee in the communal kitchen. Good wifi coverage, we watched live TV on a laptop, children were able to go on their tablets. No tea making facilities in the room for obvious reasons as it is a hostel not a hotel! On the doorstep to fish and chips, ice cream parlour and a lovely walk around the harbour area. Perfect stopping point before we travelled onto Scotland.

Great location - handy for nearby shops, pubs and restaurants. A wide variety of options within strolling distance. Close to the harbour, with more eating options, and a market every Sunday morning. Lots of great places to visit in the area - castles and coast! Very comfy bed in the main bedroom (bunk beds in the second bedroom). Lots of games and books.

High end fixtures and fittings compliment this stunning hostel style accommodation. Beautiful large lounge area and self serve kitchen. Can’t praise this place enough. If you’re a cyclist there’s an excellent safe store for your bikes. 25 can be hung up and plenty of room for others. Perfect for groups on an overnighter e.g. Coast and Castles.

This is a great place for a family trip, stylish and good value when compared to hotels etc. I have stayed in lots of youth hostels and this is high end in terms of the finish, etc. Nice alternative to a Travel Inn etc
