I stayed in woman dormitory. It was clean and nice. Stuff was very friendly. It has a bar downstair which js really nice. Location is great. Safe and clean hostel. Highly recommend.
Nothing, it was a cheap backpacker hostel rinsing us a family £330 and not even making two bunks beds up- I had to go back down at 11.45pm after arriving with my wife and kids. I liked nothing it was rubbish l, Hugely expensive, Noisy and not nfelt thoroughly Ripped off.
The location of this hostel is great and the price is favorable for those who travel on a limited budget. The hostel offers free lockers to store valuable items. Each bunk bed has a light and a power socket, which is very considerate. The staff wete really nice and would try their best to help the residents.
Great location, super friendly staff, lots of activities available, really great vibe to this hostel. They have a super cute kitchen area + lounge area and it is only two flights of stairs to reach the lobby/rooms. Oh and despite what I said below about what I didn't like, it was very cheap and cheerful and I would still go back!
Probably the best hostel I stayed at. Staff were super pleasant and helpful. Great location so close to everything and felt like home.
Great lounge area, very comfortable to work and chill out. It's in a great location, and the let you leave your bags before and after check-in. Simple breakfast is available for 3 pounds which is much cheaper than other hostels in the country. I think there is a big group of volunteers living in the hostel, so the environment is very friendly and they keep everything very clean for hostels standards.
The location of the hostel is great, the breakfast was standard, it had everything needed. As women, we asked to be placed in a women only room (safety wise) but there were no free places left. They were kind enough to change the room for us, give us free breakfast for next morning and free key padlock, because they were not able to provide us with what was initially "promised" and arranged (to be in the same bunk bed one over another).
Pods were well equipped with personal light and two USB sockets - a thick curtain provided privacy and good blocking of light from the rest of the dormitory. The hostel had a safe and quiet vibe, also clean. Excellent location.
Great location, I stayed here multiple times during my trip in Scotland. Room had view of castle. Bathrooms and rooms were clean. Kitchen and seating areas available and clean. Good wifi and PowerPoints at every bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Did let me check in 30 minutes early. Cheap to use laundry machines. Heating in rooms. Exceeded my expectations for a low price. One of the best hostels I've stayed in regarding cleanliness!
I’ve stayed in a few backpackers’ hostels around the world and this was by far the best. Great location, very clean, approachable staff and they really look after your safety, especially if you are female. They provide wonderful cooking facilities and affordable breakfast, as well as complimentary personal hygiene products. I couldn’t have asked for more.
