Everything you need is there, kitchen, washing machine etc., in good condition, clean and nice. In addition, the bus stop, grocery store etc. are very close. For me as a newcomer to Japan, the environment felt relaxed and welcoming; the host is very nice and helpful. In the evenings you meet Japanese people from different parts of the country, of different ages and from different walks of life and the interesting meetings and conversations that arose were what I liked best about this hostel.

Well situated in the centre of Makishichō, Family Room Okinawa offers 1-star accommodation close to Naminoue Beach and Yachimun Street.

Although we only stayed 1 night at this hostel to catch the morning ferry to Tokashiki island our stay was very comfortable. We had a private room with our own bathroom and we slept well. The shared places were also very tidy, clean and organised and everyone was respectful. I recommend it 🙂

Extremely kind staff. Accommodating to needs and storage. Comfortable and welcoming shared room. Laundry available to all guests. Quiet place to rest despite being so close to the main streets of Naha. Excellent choice.
